Amateur Fisher - Theia - 3/29/2025

Her dream had been terrifyingly vivid, painting a scene of utter devastation. Flames roared across her homeland, consuming everything in their path. Wolves, their anguished cries echoing through the inferno, fought desperately but futilely against the encroaching fire. Theia's family battled bravely amidst the chaos, only to be overwhelmed by the relentless blaze. Just as the nightmare reached its crescendo, she felt a sudden cold touch, a flake of snow landing on her nose, snapping her back to reality.

She sat up, her breaths coming in ragged gasps as she tried to steady herself. The haunting images lingered in her mind, but the snowfall around her gradually eased the terror. Disoriented and shivering under the canopy of pines bordering the bay of Winterscar, Theia took deep breaths, the cold air filling her lungs calmed her racing heart.

A loud growl from her stomach reminded her of another pressing issue - she hadn’t eaten in days. Hunger gnawed at her, contributing to her exhaustion. She forced herself to her feet, driving herself towards the lake.

The snow crunched beneath her paws as she made her way to the water’s edge. Leaning downwards, Theia took a long drink, feeling the icy liquid trickle down her throat, replenishing her thirst. Her eyes scanned the water for any signs of fish, hopeful for a catch that would fill her stomach and replenish both her energy and strength.

RE: Amateur Fisher - Journey - 4/4/2025

skill: chef

Hallo there! Called out Journey, to the little pale woman she had watched come up to the lake's edge for a drink. Journey found settlement along the lake bed further west after having caught two fish - one for herself now and one for her travels back home. At least, this had been the original intention. Yet despite so many of her family hardened as the ice and rock around them, Journey was not. She would rather take companionship over the extra food.

Care to share a meal with me? She spoke the common tongue to her, yet accented of course. In Northfall, so many spoke icelandic that she rarely had the need to speak anything but.
