It was difficult to say the least, to stay behind while the majority of their offspring toddles off behind Golde into a place he didn't know with wolves he didn't know either. But he had to put his feelings aside and trust that their mother would not allow any harm to befall their little ones. Besides, not all of them wanted to go ─ Hexx included. It was reassuring at least, to know that the territory was neighboring and should they not return when promised he could easily reach them.

God help the residents of Avon if a single hair on any of his childrens - or Golde's head be out of place.

Uncertainty lived in his chest as he rose, empty silver eyes casting over those that decided to stay behind with him. Grey snout would come down, roughly nudging Alric ❝ It's time to get up. ❞ he rumbled plainly. ❝ Get your brothers too, ❞ he mused, a gentle command. Perhaps they would all go on patrol today and keep themselves occupied. At least; as far as their little legs could carry them before they tired.
