Amun - Phoenix Rising - 5/8/2025 For any, but perhaps Merneith or Khaemwaset. Loling cause i see we have the same avatar.
skill: vagabond The skyspear was a sacred place. One which the pheonix had decided to align herself to. She could smell others there, though she did not come. It was a place of great danger. One which she would stay from, by the beckoning of the gods. She had found a rune now. They were close, so close..., the gods had told her. All she had was to be patient. To wait. Though she would watch with a fondness from afar until then! She was a patient women indeed and this second life was one which had been blessed and given graciously from the gods. She was at their will. Wait, wait. She was a self sufficient one if nothing else, despite whatever royal status she had in another life, so very many years ago and in lands far, far from here. Yet as she ran along the golden dunes now, with the sight of the deep blue sea, she felt as though she were that little royal girl once again, of the Land of Sun and Sand. RE: Amun - Khaemwaset - 5/8/2025 lol i love it!
once his sister's eyes had beheld the water moving below that obelisk, khaemwaset felt that they must stay. he had set about hunting at once, for he would not allow merneith to sully her head with dirt. what her caught now would do until they had amassed their own runners. but hunting an oasis had been open, whereas here the terrain dipped and swayed.
the sea caught his gaze, and he stood to watch the interplay of gold and azurite. khaemwaset missed mother and father; he shut his eyes and sent skyward a prayer for their safety. and when he opened them, it was to behold another nearby shadow, a woman of charcoal and sandfire which at once captured his full attention. here there was danger, and here there was interest. as intended pharaoh, khaemwaset meant to take the measure of both these things. RE: Amun - Phoenix Rising - 5/9/2025 skill: vagabond As she crest another dune, she would see the young man standing there, looking out to the waters where she had been running aligned to. After another crest in her run, it was she which he looked to now with smoldering liquid eyes, bright like the sun and who wore a golden circlet crowning his face. A handsome young wolf, easily standing out in the seemingly endless sands. She would close the distance between them swift, if he were to allow it. Ra shines upon you, desert walker. She had seen others before, yet had not spoken with them. Her focus being primarily on the task given to her. Now that she must wait, she made to socialize...or, attempt to. It had been so many years past since she had done such a thing. RE: Amun - Khaemwaset - 5/9/2025 a shadow, and one who spoke of his gods. "Ra is my immortal father," called khaemwaset, and flashed the grin of rashepses as he strode along the golden grains to meet this obsidian kin. for a long moment he studied her, eyes drifting to the mark at her gaze. a symbol of jetsone here in the desert. "i am khaemwaset khafraemka-wehemibre, Horus-nebkhau, the prince of Scarlet and Sun. hawk-in-the-nest to the throne of my pharaonic mother."
oh! he thrilled to say it, to utter himself god and dominion over these lands. "how did you come to know Ra?" was it like the man sutekhmes? khaemwaset considered heavily that there might be others in this land akin to himself and merneith. the start of a kingdom. RE: Amun - Phoenix Rising - 5/13/2025 skill: seer Oh?A gentle quip, the smile on her lips dancing in her eyes, ones like the golden sands and deep blue sea around them. For a moment he is only there, standing before her. Assessing her and she would stand still and embracing so, allowing his judgement to be set upon her. It was with her knowing that only the judgement of the gods truly mattered. Then, as very long introduction indeed. The knowledge of his status spilling into knowing with the titles which he wore. And so very young he was, too! Horus-nebkhau. Her ears perked with this. A long royal linege. And then, his mother, Pharaoh? Further intrigue with the drawing back of her skull. Blood of the gods run deep in you...Though she struggles to determine exactly what to call him by. Then, as he asks of how she had come to know the gods, she would pause, as though trying to find the best way to explain. A lie would do her no good. She would not. In this life, I am but their humble servant. Revived unto this world by Osiris' bidding, to follow the path which has been laid out for me.Would he ask of the life she had once lived? And if so, would he cast her out as an abomination? For she had not been led to the Field of Reeds, but instead meant to slumber until purpose was given to her once again. I am the one called Phoenix Rising. For she had done just that. And bless the gods so! She was not a woman to flaunt many titles, as humble she was. Even more so in this new life. Though she felt as if once before she had held many. Yet generations had since passed and these things had been lost to the heat of the desert. RE: Amun - Khaemwaset - 5/14/2025 phoenix rising spoke of rebirth. khaemwaset studied her for a long moment, noting the hue of her eyes and the way that she spoke of Osiris. a priestess them — perhaps an attendant of the God Himself? "i and my sister, queen ascendant satriya merneith — we will claim this place for the gods. our gods," he added, encompassing phoenix rising in that statement.
how funny were the powerful ones, to bring together their land. "walk with me," khaemwaset invited, though it held far more an air of command. "you said 'in this life,'" observed the young pharaoh as the sands inched beneath their paws. "have you traveled to the House of the Dead?" he was introspectively excited; a follower of Osiris would add some level of adulation to a kingdom he already envisioned as quite grand. those who knew the ways of the underworld, embalming, which amulets to place in one's burial chamber — he thought of these things as he thought of the future. a ruler of the sands considered what might come after his death. to many others this might seen morbid; to khaemwaset, it had been his natal way of life. an opener of the mouth; a guider of the way; yes, his attentions settled more closely upon this phoenix. he found liking in her name as well, turning it like a jewel in his mind. khaemwaset thought of the red palace, the lotus halls, the oasis gemstones — this place must draw upon all that legacy, and more. RE: Amun - Phoenix Rising - 5/27/2025 sorry this is sooooo long but her creation revolves around this bwp so she had lots to say.
skill: seer A young man's claim, along a young sister in bound-blood. These lands would be claimed by Pharoah now, yet not for himself. No - this one is careful with his words as he speaks to the priestess. He and his sister sought to claim the lands in order to make it a place of sacred worship to their gods, not a worship of himself. Yet oh, worship to the mortal would surely too come and from many! Should he lead his people with purpose and divine guidance. Pheonix is pleased. This young Pharoah to be speaks again and once more do her long legs move over the golden rolling sands. Her direction is lead by his own, yet every so often she side steps, as though a silent pull for their path more towards the flat coastline. No,She admitted then, as he asked this of her. I was not met with Anubis. My trials never ended, nor began. My heart unweighed. My eyes did not fall upon the Field of Reeds. She pauses now, in her steps. Her head falling. There was sorrow there, trapped within her soul. She would have loved to have seen such things yet it was not meant to be, not yet. She still had much servitude to give. Then, a deep breath and her eyes close, feeling the burning of Ra upon her dark coat. I was royal too, once. A lifetime ago. A granddaughter of a pharoah long dead now. A people realms from here, whose worship and praise in their heart was given to Hathor. Her eyes open and she turns to face the young spirit again. A goddess of a great many things, my studies focused on her place in Duat. A kept my vessel pure, to be of use by the gods choosing and when it was needed, I sacrificed myself in the name of my gods for the prosperity of my people. A small smile on her lips then. It was not an easy thing to do, in a body so beautiful and in the Land of Sun and Sand. In their worship did they often celebrate and their festivities seemed to have no end. Hathor, goddess of love and beauty, music and dance, fertility and pleasure, skies and foreign lands and of course, afterlife. I have slept for a long time, I think. My purpose not yet ended. This, she was certain. There could be no other reason. There is great magic in these lands. A magic powerful and very unstable which threatens us all. Osiris spoke to me then, as he does now, and rose me from my dark slumber. It is his words which command me, as I walk foreign lands through both our conscious and unconscious dreams, as Hathor crosses realms before me. I have been tasked to help bring the stability to this world again. Offering all which she had to give to the yoing Pharoah, she waits now for judgement of his own. What would he make of all this? Had he been visited in his dreams, seen the visions given of this land's making? Had he heard the drums and and felt the glowing blue-hot pulse of the runes? RE: Amun - Khaemwaset - 6/2/2025 so you are a ushabti, said the prince after a long time of consideration. she spoke of the gods who had risen her up, and returned her to serve; she spoke of the places of tomb-celebrations, and if he pretended, he was able to catch the hint of charnel incense on her coat. or so he believed. she had been resurrected for a purpose, and she had found satriya. khaemwaset, rendered fiercely pious three times over, saw every such thing as a sign of the gods. and he did not need to think upon it; this was what she had said in so many words, and those unsaid. pleased; moved; the prince walked in silence alongside this phoenix, thinking again over her words; considering anew that she was not only a priestess but a true conduit for the living gods. she had not visited the Field of Reeds, and this subsumed the young Horus with renewed thoughts of what it might be to one day set foot there. stay with us. his voice held gilded invitation. you have served Hathor. you have known the Duat. you have heard Osiris. my sister and i seek to build in union a monument unto our gods. we would welcome your guidance.we did not feel so impossible when the love of merneith laid within his spirit. satriya would stand. to have so sacred a woman as phoenix there with them would transform their land into a vessel for the divine ones above. |
