Oniria kicked a pebble into the water and reassured him she'd be okay due to her bloodlines and he smiled, hoping it was true, shifting a little on his haunches. The little girl leaned her head on him and the Dragon smiled, feeling the warmth of a father come flooding back in, the feelings he'd had with his babies when they were younger... Suddenly Hel popped into his head and how he'd never had the chance for these moments with her and bit his lip to hold back a choked sound. His smile fading quickly as the heartache came rushing back in.

I know you miss 'em, but maybe you should pay more attention to the ones that are here and less on the ones that aren't - I bet Reign would want that... Creole rolled these words around in his brain for a moment, how they made complete sense and how true they rang... She was wise for her age and it would take her far...
