Had they thought this through? Not well enough; it had been a sudden, and abrupt plan with little to no planning - it could have used more planning, to be fair but they were also kids. Kids who didn’t know better, and weren’t thinking logically: they just wanted the world to go back to the way things were, and still believed their papa had all the magic in the world.
And now they were past the border, in a new world, and papa wasn’t here. The sun had already been setting when they were at the riverbank, and now it really was dark - and didn’t the monsters come out at night? Monsters that ate little puppies?

Sissy! I got him! His scent! He is near! We can find him. Just..She sniffed at the spot, then brought her nose to the air and wiggled her nose to do a sniffy sniff.
