The wolf wouldn't have to wait long, he was already being stalked.
Not on purpose at first, the tiger just happened to be on patrol when he spotted the creature layered with various items. In the fog it had looked like the wolf was some kind of abomination, a monster, but as he crept closer...well he didn't announce himself. Curiosity, perhaps, had kept Carnifex from approaching outright as long as the other was just trailing the border. Silently following on too light paws, his pelt that already blended in with the trees hidden further by the blanket of fog, even his scent that already littered the area blended in. Fresher, considering he last marked this border the other morning, but still.
Once Grievous set down his mouthful and howled however, he chuffed out a greeting and stepped into view.
Why are you carrying so much? His tone was curious, as he sniffed but stayed far enough away that hopefully the man wouldn't take him as a threat...at the moment at least.
Just the head guard doing his job.
