<span style="width:25px; display:inline-block;"></span>Something breeds within her, fear and hate, conjoined into something unholy in this garbled mess, lighting a fire in the cornsilk gold of her eyes. <br />

Zivuli falls to her haunches and brings a large tongue to swathe over the claw-wound on her shoulder, cleaning her fur of the blood that stained it. Red runs from her ear over the side of her face, where much has already dried, and she flicks it in response. She'd run so far, been <span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">chased</span> so far that the footsteps of the man who'd done it still rung in her ears, a whisper in the grass between every breath she took. <br />

Taking a moment to orientate herself, the panther meandered her way to the water's edge and began to drink in great gulps, staring as ripples distorted her face until she was quenched and all became still. One paw reached to pat the surface, tongue flicking to swipe the droplets gathered there. It was damp. It was <span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">real</span>. Slowly, slowly, her lips peeled in an unearthly smile, turning tail and stalking into the reeds where the scents of prey pooled.
