A gateway of large sequoia trees stand tall and vigilant, dividing this region from the rest of the continent, where the densely-packed nature of their growth makes it difficult to see a path through. A lake rests nearby, making a home for several beaver clans, their busywork creating a comforting backdrop against the overwhelming silence of the entrance.
