This place was home, now. The thought had come to Ylva surprisingly quickly, following her reunion with both Brynhild and Solvi, but even that wasn’t unexpected. Her home would be anywhere they went, and this was far from an exception.

Looking for herbs wasn’t an exception, either. She had stayed as close to Dawnbreak as she could, despite her remaining reservations about joining, because that’s where both of the wolves who meant so much to her were. The next step had been clear enough- she’d make her little makeshift den her own, for however long she’d stay in it, and this was the most tedious task. It wouldn’t be a bad task- just time consuming, mostly, in her search for anything that seemed familiar.

The meadow was a good place to start, Ylva was sure. She had found herself nearby most of the time, anyways, and the comfort of Dawnbreak still being close was welcome, as well. And so was the splash of color the crimson flora brought, even if it had left her at a loss of what to look for first.

Chamomile, she decided. It should be easy enough to find, even with the colors of the meadow.
