Wake up, patrol, hunt, socialize, eat, sleep, repeat. Raisa's days were dragging on bit by bit and blurring together in a terrible monotonous drone, and she just... she didn't think she could do it anymore. She'd realized one day Shreya's den was abandoned, and the young woman hadn't been the same since. Sure, she still had Sera, Cirilla, and Benkei, not to mention the other members of Seiiki that weren't her blood but still meant family to her...

But her heart felt empty without that last solid foundation of her childhood, and she hardly felt herself anymore let alone like a queen.

She barely wanted to lead anymore, and she certainly didn't have the spark left in her heart to go out and see if any of the packs she'd began forging bonds with needed the silly little trinkets Raisa had spent so long collecting. She needed things worthwhile, and other than perhaps the bones of the bear, she didn't really have anything like preserved pelts or fancy herbs to trade -- nor would she know what they needed in return, as far as herbs went, though some fancy meat from parts unknown would be nice to try, too, perhaps.
The thought didn't help Raisa want to do anything. She simply lounged, depressed, lonely despite the way the pack seemed to be thriving.

In a bid to spend time with someone who wasn't her family for a change, Raisa had grabbed the first few smelly, herby-looking plants she could find and went on to search for Barbosa. It was high past time she'd asked for formal training, but it would give her other things to focus on besides lurking in Ichorwood, sulking, and losing herself in routine.

When she thought she'd caught a fresh trail of the woman, she loosed a bark, though it was hard to tell past the smells of the leaves and flowers between her jaws.

There was little more to the way of life that Barbosa now led that brought a spark to her eyes. She'd lost everything, her home, her friends, and now she knew she'd lost a family. It was a feeling that itched in her chest and squeezed the woman's heart. She was never built to lead, but instead to contribute where she could, and now even herbs often looked dull to her without folks to share their secrets with.

She was a recluse who spent most of her days in the shade of trees, watching the world go by as a bystander while she tried to mentally heal from the nightmares that terrorised her sleep. The goblins of her mind were never let out into the world, though, caged within her mind alone with only themselves and herself. She needed a fix, something to mute their cries each night she closed her eyes.

So, for once in this awful replay of her life, she was searching for something to alleviate her stress. The broad woman found herself in a meadow, sniffing through the spring growth looking for a very specific plant, valerian. The root was known to aid in stress relief, to relax oneself before sleep, and allow for a wakeless night.

She was nose deep in the damp soil when the muffled bark came, her head lifting quickly only to spy the Seiiki leader approaching with a mouthful of earthy smelling plant matter. Despite the mud covering her blackened nose, Barbosa met the woman with a smile, welcoming her closer.

Raisa, how have you been?
